The Trap of Authenticity or the Illusion of Originality

This one is weird. And you will need some context first.

I am currently enrolled in a masters course which has a module called observational behaviour and psychology. After I created this blog, I shared it with a friend of mine. We talk about things from a philosophical point of view and his immediate comment was – “tum obp ka gyaan daalte rhoge idhr” (You’ll post whatever you read from OBP course here). Without thinking, I defended by saying that I intend to keep this section only for original thoughts.

Strangely, I haven’t written anything after that. Because, I fell into the trap of authenticity.

Are any thoughts original? Are any ideas original?

Finally, unlike the other sections of the blog, the “Midnight Musings” section is for myself to explore any questions I feel like exploring. I hope that I am able to avoid the illusion of originality and focus on exploring without constraints.
